Formed in 2008, Lilla Land is a Georgian duo comprised of vocalist/lyricist Tea Saneblidze and guitarist/composer David ‘Dato’ Toidze. Building upon their mutual interest in trip hop, avantgarde and everything shrouded in mysticism, the two of them set out to create something truly ahead of its time. In 2009 following Georgia’s Russian occupation the duo recorded and produced their first album titled Fledermaus. Their music is a combination of lush atmospheres, synth galore, dark noir and elegant harmonies with a touch of dark gothic aesthetic. Lilla Land has performed on multiple occasions in Georgia, Lithuania and Ukraine (at the gothic festival, Children of the Night) and has received Georgian TV airtime. In 2012 they were awarded Best Upcoming Artist by Caucasus Music Awards Phoenix. After a slower period Lilla Land is now picking up where it started, following an official release on all major streaming platforms and with a new album in the works.
